Wise as Serpents

The serpent represents Kundalini. It is the same serpent that tempted Eve, the same serpent that Moses' staff turned into in front of the Pharaoh, the same serpent that Jesus reference when he said. "... as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness so shall the son of man be lifted up..." It is the same serpent at the beginning of the Bhagavad Gita, on the staff of Ningishzida, Hermes, and Mercury (all incarnations of Jesus Imo), as the circumference of the Ouroboros, framing Krishna as he revealed his divinity to Arjuna at the beginning of the kurukshetra War, framing the meditating Buddha, on which Vishnu rests, manifested as Quetzalcot, on the back of ambulances on the caduceus, as the Pythos of Delphi, and in spiritual Traditions all over the world. Yogananda said Kundalini as it is known in the East is equivalent to the Holy Spirit as it is known in the West.
